History  

  In 1917, under the light of the Athenaeum Acropolis, was erected the three-story neoclassical building on the road Parthenons and 19 Kavalloti,   gracing until today the surrounding area.
The house belonged to the internationally acclaimed composer of Byzantine and Classical Music, George Poniridis who resided there until 1982 .
 

After years of studies and international success in Istanbul, Brussels, Germany and other places, it whose chosen as permanent residence, by the great representative of the musical art , the famous Greek composer , violinist , highbrow writer , teacher, artist creator  Poniridis George . Crafted with unique embossed rosettes on the facade and ceilings with spectacular rosettes over salons lighting, bathed by the glare of the sun, was the inspiration place for the honored with the '' golden cross of King George A’ '' Creator

GEORGE PONIRIDIS

 

( Chalcedon Bosphorus 1885 - Athens 1982 ) . Distinguished composer and violinist , born (according to us ) rather than the 1890 or 1892 - as stated - but in 1885 .
